2021 Girls Lacrosse Season

2021 SPRING SEASON

As we have learned from COVID all plans may change and we need to keep flexible, patient, and calm.

ISD Girls Lacrosse will be following the WA State governor’s COVID-19 youth sports rules based on the current King County risk assessment.

Washington State Sport Activities Requirements

Covid Risk Assessment Dashboard

Based on the WSLA modified season that was announced in November 2020. We will be opening a basic registration (No Fee collection) in the coming weeks.

We are securing fields, coaches, and planning to have a fun season of Lacrosse.

Modified HS Season Dates

WSLA will be aligning the start of the 2021 High School lacrosse season with the WIAA's season 4 - see calendar linked below.  Practices will begin on April 26.  Games begin the week of May 10, 2021.  There will be 8 games.  The structure of the season and playoffs will be outlined more specifically by the Pre-Season league meeting which will likely be in mid-March, date TBD, and not January as it usually happens.

Modified Youth Season Dates

The 2021 Youth Season will be modified in the following way.  The goal is to remain flexible and promote safe, outdoor, regularly scheduled activity.

·         Practices for game competition will start on April 19.

·         Games will begin the weekend of May 1- June 13 (6 weekends total - no games the weekend of Memorial Day). 8 games.
