ISD Girls Lacrosse

ISD Girls Lacrosse provides a competitive level of girls lacrosse for student-athletes across the Issaquah School district in Issaquah, Sammamish and areas of Newcastle and east Renton, Washington.

We provide a fun lacrosse environment for new and experienced players from 1st to 12th grade.

2024 High School Season Highlights

The 2024 High School season highlights include:

  • Congratulations to our 10 seniors graduating from Issaquah High, Gibson Ek, and Skyline High Schools. 
  • JV went undefeated (13-0) this season against some great JV programs in the league
  • Varsity finished 3rd in the Power Rankings for WSLAX
  • Varsity had an exciting quarter-finals W over Bellevue
  • Varsity went on to face a tough L in semi-finals game against Seattle Prep
  • Congratulations Amelia Ryan, All-State!
  • Congratulations Claire Christensen, All-Conference!
  • Dedicated May 2 Senior Night to Morgan's Message movement for athlete mental health. 

Volunteer Opportunities Available!

Looking for a way to get involved with ISD Girls Lacrosse? We are actively looking for volunteers for the following opportunities. 

If interested in either of these opportunities, please send a message to the ISD Girls Lacrosse Secretary (Stephanie Ryan) which includes your interest in the position, experience, and a paragraph about yourself and your particular interest in joining the ISD Girls Lacrosse Board. 

Equipment Manager

The ISD Girls Lacrosse Board has an opening for Equipment Manager. The position includes: 

  • Managing the equipment and storage for all teams (youth and high school),
  • Distribution (and collection) of uniforms,
  • Order equipment and uniforms
  • Kit/stock the team gear (goalie, first aid, balls, coaching binders) and distribute to the coaches
  • Stock the sheds with game equipment
  • Ensure the goals are maintained and in good working order (restringing may be involved)
  • Removal of goals/sheds from the school fields at the end of the season

Out-of-season tasks include organization and inventory of gear and first aid stock to ensure we have sufficient equipment for the season. 

As a member of the ISD Girls Lacrosse Board this role also contributes to the organization and the culture of the club!

Social Media Coordinator

The Board is seeking someone to manage our social media platforms. The Social Media Coordinator will partner with Web/Registration Coordinator to drive social media presence.  

Responsibilities include:

  • Generating and posting game notices (for youth and HS)
  • Monitoring member forwarded content and reposting as appropriate
  • Re-sharing non-ISD opportunities through IG
  • Scheduling and posting other club communications
